xFusion Server Receives World's First CC EAL4+ Security Certification

Recently, xFusion server management software iBMC has officially passed the security assessment of the UL Solutions lab and obtained the CC EAL4+ certification. UL Solutions is a world-renowned independent certification body, and the the CC EAL4+ certification is globally authoritative IT security evaluation criteria. xFusion is the first in the world to obtain the CC EAL4+ certification in the x86 server field.

Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation (CC) is the most widely recognized security certification for IT products in the world, and is the top international standard for computer security certification. CC is based on information security standards of various countries and is officially recognized by 31 Common Criteria Recognition Arrangement (CCRA) member countries. This standard sets different evaluation levels of EAL1 to EAL7. The higher the level, the more evidence required for evaluation and the stricter the evaluation, which means the safer the evaluated function is. The EAL4+ certification requires source code review and physical site review, and is the highest certification level in the server filed.
