With the digital transformation of thousands of industries, new products, models, and experiences based on data are emerging, and therefore data has become one of the most important means of production for enterprises. Better releasing the value potential of data and empowering customers to accelerate business innovation and growth has become one of the key missions of advanced computing infrastructure.

With semiconductor NAND flash as the storage medium, enterprise SSDs are widely used in various key industries because of their natural advantages including high performance, solid reliability, low power consumption, large capacity, and small size. Based on statistics, among the industry segmentation scenarios of enterprise SSDs, cloud computing and Internet industries account for 67%, and carrier, government, finance, and energy industries account for 28%. As the complexity of the segmentation scenarios increases, scenarioization and customization for enterprise SSD products and technologies have become an inevitable trend.

Tang Qiming, President of FusionServer Domain of xFusion, said, "KIOXIA is a very trustworthy partner of xFusion. Our joint innovation for customers' business cloud storage scenarios has achieved 10% higher performance increase than the industry. The establishment of the xLAB SSD Joint Innovation Laboratory will further strengthen our cooperation. Both sides will give full play to our technical advantages in computing power and storage power to create a complementary and collaborative relationship for win-win development."

The establishment of the xLAB SSD Joint Innovation Laboratory symbolizes that both sides will focus on the server field. The two sides will conduct technical research on new generations of SSDs in terms of the joint development, industry standard formulation and joint certification, and solution customization, adaptation, and verification, and cooperate to innovate server storage architecture and produce chip-level data security solutions. In addition, the two sides will actively explore cutting-edge technologies for reducing costs, increasing efficiency, and saving energy, to achieve the "dual carbon" goal.

Narayuki Okamoto, Chairman and General Manager of KIOXIA (China) Co., Ltd., said, "Congratulations on the establishment of the xFusion-KIOXIA SSD Joint Innovation Laboratory. We are very excited to work with xFusion to boost the application of advanced technologies in the industry and provide customized solutions for end customers. This will advance SSD technology research in the meantime. As a global leader in memory solutions and a pioneer of advanced technology in the industry, KIOXIA has been committed to the enterprise SSD market for more than 10 years and will continue to innovate together with xFusion to bring a series of advanced memory solutions to various industries."
